Siemens SKP15.011U1 Gas Valve Actuator (120V)

The Siemens SKP15.011U1 is an electro-hydraulic actuator used on industrial and commercial combustion systems where reliable gas valve operation and rapid fail-safe closure are required.

SKP15 actuators are safety-critical components. If an actuator fails, the valve may not complete its stroke correctly, often leading to burner lockout or shutdown. This unit is supplied for direct like-for-like replacement where the SKP15.011U1 is specified.

Functional Operation

When the actuator is energised, an internal pump transfers hydraulic fluid within the actuator to build pressure in the stroke chamber. This drives the piston to open the gas valve against the return spring.

When power is removed, the pump stops and the internal relief path allows the return spring to drive the piston back, closing the valve quickly to a safe position.

  • Gas valve not opening during start-up
  • Burner fails to prove or locks out
  • Actuator does not complete stroke
  • Switch feedback not detected by the control system (where fitted)
