We are pleased to present another fantastic case study on a recent installation for a food industry application. After visiting the customer’s site, we concluded that the burners they need would offer better combustion to achieve enhanced efficiency. This job consisted of four new installations of our RF-TC burners from Comtherm’s high-temperature burner range.
The customer specifically requested to reduce their downtime due to struggles their engineers were facing during ignition. As the burner was failing to start the first time, this resulted in using up more gas over time to light the burner.
Siemens’ LMV51 system was the perfect resolution for this scenario to improve fault finding and therefore achieve a quicker solution in order to get the burner back up and running. For convenience, we also installed a Siemens AZL Display Screen which was mounted in the operation room to locate faults remotely and much sooner than the previously checked intervals.
Once the burners were successfully commissioned, the customer immediately saw an improvement in the burner lighting the first time every single time. Additionally, due to the improved performance of the overall system, a decrease in oven temperature has been made. As a result of this, the customer has also seen a reduction in gas usage.
