Econex VSARP550C 2" Single Solenoid Valve - 500mbar

The Econex VSARP550C 2" Single Solenoid Valve - 500mbar is part of the high-pressure VSA series of gas safety solenoid shut-off valves. These valves are designed in compliance with the Norm EN 161 and the ATEX rule 94/9/CE for Zone 2 and 22 (II 3G – II 3D), making them suitable for the automatic control of gases from the first, second, and third family. They can also be adapted for air on request.

Key features of the Econex VSARP550C include:

• Valve body constructed from die-cast aluminum, ensuring strength and durability.
• Threaded connections of Rp 2 according to EN10226.
• Designed to handle inlet pressures of 1, 3, and 6 bar.
• Rapid opening and closing time of less than 1 second.
• Capable of operating in ambient temperatures ranging from -20 to +60°C.
• Supports various supply voltages including 230V ac, 110V ac, 24V - 12V ac and dc, although some diameter sizes may not support all voltage options.
• Frequency range for the valve is 50 - 60 Hz, with 50 Hz for the 24V ac model.
• Enclosure rating of IP 65, indicating a high level of protection against environmental elements.
• Supply voltage tolerance is -15% to +10%.
• Designed for continuous duty cycles, ensuring consistent performance over time.

Additionally, like other models in the VSA series, the VSARP550C is normally closed for continuous and cyclic operation, opening when the coil is powered and closing quickly in the absence of tension. The coil is encapsulated in PA resin. The valve includes pressure test points at the inlet from both sides. Optional accessories for this model include a limit switch, maximum flow adjustment, and rapid stroke.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. If you would like to collect your order, please select collection at checkout, and your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within one hour.

Our collection hours are:

8am – 4:30pm Monday-Thursday

8am – 3pm Fridays 

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us, which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. If you haven't received your order within two days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please get in touch with us at sales@comtherm.co.uk with your company name and order number.

Refunds and Returns

We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at sales@comtherm.co.uk with your order number and a photo of the item's condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution
